a word from the FOOTLOOSE-crew
This festival is completely d.i.y and organised by people who do it because they love music and feel they're part of a subculture instead of getting paid for their work.
This is one of the reasons why we chose the autonomous center KTS in Freiburg as a venue. We want to make sure that people can experience cultural events without spending lots of money or being under pressure to consume. We want to create a place where people who are discriminated elsewhere can move freely.
We can't change the world today, so let's change the scene!
We only support bands who are politically left winged, whether in their lyrics or just personal.
Any person who behaves sexist, homophobic, racist, or anti-semitic will be kicked out immediately.
Since the hardcore/punk scene belongs to the most sexistic subcultures, we want to support especially feminist and anti-sexist bands and labels. We want all the girls in the scene to join more shows - and this festival of course!
We won't tolerate sexual harassments as well as unwanted chat ups, pick-up attempts or snide remarks. We don't want no tough guys or any other kind of stupid morons celebrating their manhood.
If you feel bothered by someone in any way or see someone who does, please react, either by interferring yourself, or by telling someone else. Ask behind the counter or at the entrance and you will find enough people to help out.
Apart from that, we welcome anybody at the festival. If you have any questions or are looking for sleeping places or what ever, feel free to write an email (showyourmoves@gmx.net) or a myspace message.

Für FreundInnen der guten Musik könnte dies DAS Wochenende des Jahres werdem! Von klassischem Hardcore über Trash bis hin zu Instrumental und Screamo, von emotional bis experimentell, von hart bis zart. Eine Fülle von internationalen Bands, die mit ihren Performances die neue Bühne der KTS einweihen wollen! Tough guys dürfen zu Hause bleiben, alle anderen sind herzlich eingeladen...
Natürlich gibt es über die beiden Tage veganes Essen, Cocktails und die üblichen leckeren Getränke. Samstag Nachmittag steht das unmusikalische Unterhaltungsprogramm mit Kino, Kickerturnier und/oder Sackhüpfen an.
Ansonsten kann sich mensch an Merchständen erfreuen und ein bisschen Verdientes verprassen.
Und für alle, die nach den atemberaubenden Shows noch nicht genug haben, gibt es des späteren Abends noch Disco, es lohnt sich allso allemal...!
